Taxidermia (2006) – György Pálfi
It’s difficult to write much about Taxidermia in a blog that my parents read! The film, directed by György Pálfi, is visually and thematically grotesque. It’s full of startling, transgressive images. (Even the original poster had to be obscured, though the poster used for the Cannes Film Festival premiere is uncensored.) www.matthewhunt.com/blog

The original poster is the censored Hungarian one, on the front page of http://www.taxidermia.hu (the film’s official website). The poster you link to above was for the film’s Cannes screening.
Mat.
Dear Mat,
Thanks for the corrections and clarifications. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank and praise you for the wonderful work you’ve done on Visual art censorship.

Thank you, too. I’m a big fan of your website, and have been for several years.
That film looks brilliant. I’m guessing it will get a limited release in UK…hope so anyway.
