Irina Ionesco was a French photographer whose five minutes of fame were gained by photographing her daughter in suggestive poses and settings.
The story of the relationship with her daughter is told by the latter in My Little Princess (2011).
RIP Bob Rafelson (1933 – 2022)
Bob Rafelson was an American film director. I remember him for Head (1968) and Five Easy Pieces (1970).
Five Easy Pieces is famous for its chicken salad scene.
Head is known for being a hippie film in the style of The Trip (1967), Medium Cool (1969) and Putney Swope (1969).
RIP Michael Henderson (1951 – 2022)
Michael Henderson was an American bass guitarist who is known for his work with Miles Davis. As a vocalist he is chiefly remembered for “You Are My Starship” (1976).
RIP Claes Oldenburg (1929 – 2022)
Claes Oldenburg was a Swedish-born American sculptor known for soft sculptures such as Giant Soft Drum Set in the first half of his career, and extra large artworks in the second half of his career.
RIP Paul Ryder (1964 – 2022)
Paul Ryder was an English bassist known for his work with Happy Mondays who are best-known for “Step On”, a 1990 cover version of “He’s Gonna Step on You Again” (1971).

Lenny Von Dohlen was an American actor.
I remember him for Electric Dreams (1984), which can be read as a prequel to Her.
RIP L. Q. Jones (1927 – 2022)
L. Q. Jones was an American actor and film director. I remember him from A Boy and His Dog (1975), a cult film about a boy and his telepathic dog who hunt for food and women. They end up in a handmaid’s tale type world. There is some nudity and lots of misogyny.

James Caan was an American actor known for such films as The Godfather (1972) and Dogville (2003).
RIP Peter Brook (1925 – 2022)
Peter Brook was an English theater and film director known for such dramatizations as Marat/Sade (1964) for the theater in 1965 and as a film in 1967.
